Bush TripThe last week I was in Papua New Guinea, before coming home in preparation for my wedding, I was able to spend with my dear friends in their bush homes.
Language Learning…Brewster had two statements that were the foundation for my language learning. First he said, “I went to where the people were and I sat down.” So for me that included four weekly trips to the market, going to their homes, their gardens, or walking for hours just to be with them.
Two are Better Than OneCherith Stevens, a Christian school teacher from Delaware with a master’s degree from Bob Jones University, felt the call of God on her life to be a missionary. She attended Baptist Bible Translators Institute (BBTI), graduating in 2007. While at BBTI a partnership was formed with fellow students who planned to reach the Kamea people of Papua New Guinea’s (PNG) Gulf Province.
